Project Overview
I created several illustrations for Midstory, an Ohio-based nonprofit, that highlight the content of articles about economic, technological, and cultural issues in the Midwest.
The design process began with me reading (or in one case, writing) the article then conducting additional research to familiarize myself with the material. I then selected keywords to search for a collection of images to create an original illustration.
Each illustration underwent multiple iterations, revisions, and feedback sessions before being finalized.
